ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In order for us to be human again, a family again, I think that the virtual world and borders that we have created within ourselves must be removed. Just like opening the cages of hundreds of pigeons at the same time. Therefore, the question of how I can live my own freedom made me confused. In fact, what kind of freedom I want? Perhaps freedom was just an art and never existed in practice. Despite everything, there is still a place where no one can interfere; My Soul. That's the source, where Art of Freedom comes from. I decided to leave these colors (soft pastel colors), the emergency code colors (neon and flash colors) of the Mechanical Age series behind and focus on my calling to be human and feel free and live. Because, All prisons are full of healthy people And cemeteries are full of dead people who have never lived actually...

Turkey
Born in 1975 in Copenhagen, Denmark, Madam P started painting in 1989 and began her professional career in 2001. Her work is rooted in Abstract Expressionism, Pop Art and Constructivism, but performed within a personal frame. Through identifying with these movements, she is able to create a “vast perspective” within her paintings. Her inspiration for each work comes from an opinion, word or idea, although there is no place for coincidence in the main idea. Throughout her career, she has focused on discovering how art can be used as a language; and how to surpass traditional boundaries through the use of colors. Madam P only focuses on effect, while everything else (such as visuality, rules and expectations) are secondary.
