About The Artwork
From a series of woodland studies while living in Boyton, Wiltshire, UK, where I was renting the local Dower house for a year. I have used the basic composition to recreate a series of oil paintings, with a variety of colour schemes. This, the most recent, has developed into a more intense painting, with thicker paint and several more layers of colour.

She was born in 1959, in Cape Town, as her father was posted there while serving in the navy. As a child She also lived in Washington DC which she adored.
