Dorit Saphir studied Theatre arts in Tel Aviv University, Architecture and City planning in Politecnico Di Milano, Italy and in Technion – Israel institute of technology, as well as Cinema and Television at Tel Aviv University. She studied under Prof. John Byle and Artist Harold Rubin at The Artists' house in Tel Aviv. Exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Israel and abroad. Her works were acquired by various collections. Moreover she has produced and directed many documentary films for the Israeli Broadcast Association. My sources of inspiration stem from prehistoric cave drawings and symbolize ancient archetypes. Thus, a unique visual language forms through which I seek to hint at a reality that is concealed beyond the visible: myths, mythology, and anecdotes of a wild and primitive era. The full narrative is left to the imagination of the viewer.
