"Beauty of Livermere" Red Poppies Print

Painted on-site at Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners, WI. Features a group of red poppy flowers of the variety named "Beauty of Livermere". The poppies are accented by a couple of pink peonies and a background of bright yellow and green. Running and dripping effects in the background are created with water-based casein paint and glazed over with oil. Painted on board with both palette knife and brush. The shape of the flower petals is enhanced by the thickly applied paint. Framed in a 2" wide wood frame with a black finish and gold inner edge. May also be purchased unframed.
