Boardwalk is part of my new series RAIN or SHINE. The Boardwalk is part of my new series RAIN or SHINE. The Rain and Shine series is based on photos combined as a play between reality and abstraction. I referece bokeh photography which is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in out-of-focus parts of an image. I've spent many a rainy day photographing the world through my windshield that I then use as reference for my rain paintings. 2021 - Oil on Cradled Board –24 H x 24 W x 1.5 Inches and ready to hang Cradled with a solid wood frame, the panel won't flex, stretch, or warp. The edges are sanded edges to allow for a finished look that is ready to hang. The painting is signed and dated by the year and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. DENNIS CRAYON REALIST CONTEMPORARY REALISM I’ve earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from the State University of New York and later earned a diploma from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston in painting. It was there that I began to learn classical painting. I later moved to Washington, D.C., and studied at the Zoll Studio of Fine Art in Timonium, Maryland, fully delving into classical painting techniques and trompe l’oeil. I am an active member of Washington, D.C.’s artistic community. My work has been shown locally and nationally.
