Breakfast room Green Print

The idea for this work I got during my work as a decorator in Amsterdam. It's about the material :Paint. You can put paint on the wall and try to even it out as neatly as possible or you spread it out on a piece of paper in all kind of gestures . Brands have their colour sample cans of wall paint , for people to try a colour at home. I like to get these little cans and take each colour and do a painting with just the one colour. The colours all have a name, in this case, Breakfast Room Green . I'm working on a serie of paintings of classic interiors. The interiors in which once the same paint was used . I used heavy graphic paper. The exciting thing is, you can't undo anything .The paint stains immediately the paper. It's like aquarel. I named it after the colour of the paint , Breakfast room Green no 81 F&B
