Cascade, Endau Rompin Park Print

The painting is inspired by scenes I see in tropical rain forests. In this case myself and 3 other artists went on an excursion to one of the National parks here in Malaysia. I equipped myself with pencils and paper. The rest was done later in studio... The paper I use is a traditional mulberry paper handmade in Thailand. The paper is a thick parchment type paper, strong yet pliable. I have the paper made to this size to get the deckled edges which adds to the textural effect on the original work. For print purposes I have cropped away the uneven deckled edge. The close up picture is of higher resolution to be able to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting. Packaging for my small paintings like this one is sealed in plastic sleeve, sealed in a padded hard plastic file case, and envelope covering. Interested to have your idea painted in this style?
