ABOUT THE ARTWORK
It wasn't too hard to choose the focal point for this picture! My picture is based on a photograph by Colin Baxter. Castle Stalker is a four-storey tower house or keep picturesquely set on a tidal islet on Loch Laich, an inlet off Loch Linnhe. Painted on ARCHES, 300g, rough watercolour paper (which has a textured surface finish) with Winsor & Newton paints. Unframed, unmounted. Painted to the edge of the paper. If you want the painting to really stand out then paying a professional framer will give you best results. But if you look in your art supplies shop you can find the materials to create your own mount and frame.
