ABOUT THE ARTWORK

I am always inspired by love in my work. This is a concept I derived from a Saturday evening scene. I was going to a restaurant with my girl friend for a dinner date. While we were waiting to be seated, two young ladies showed up heading to the same place our reservations were made. They were cheerfully consumed by their cell phone communicative. From the words they uttered out one could tell they were chatting with boyfriends. "We are already here her." Hurry up guys". Said one of them. The guys were certainly in the vicinity since within 5 minutes their presence was announced by their loud laughter. They all hugged and kissed. In the group there was the odd one out. She was unattached but seemed to be more enthusiastically vocal than others. She held her phone in her palm. There was a big possibility that her date had not worked out. I chatted a little bit with the bunch and discovered that their connection originated from face book and they all had been dating for a month. Most importantly one lady mentioned that they had set their night out dating a few hour earlier by text. I registered this scene in my mind and I thought it would make an exciting social theme as seen in "Text Dating" herein presented This social theme is benign. Dating is a natural ubiquitous experience especially among teenagers who are energetically and are widely new to the amorous game. I hope viewers can and relate reflect on this art piece. Have fun with it. *Holiday Season Special Price reduction* This original painting is accompanied by a sealed Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
