ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The passage between spaces and objects with mixed media, oil paint, charcoal and collage technique. There is never a complete transcript, I will add the sketches to objects of imagination, often repeated shapes, earlier reshaped scenes in the already in the head with composite color effects. Part of the creative process as I observe the dissonance of contrast effects is one in the picture. This painting makes an attempt to conduct a psychological dialogue with two "chairs". The painting is sold unframed so it can be hanged with or without a frame as you preferred. This is an original mixed media painting (graphite, acrylic, oil, collage) on a 20 x 30 cm canvas.

I lived in Ireland for two years (2007-2009), where I started to work more seriously in the arts, although I have been creating a lot since childhood. I had my first exhibition abroad in Galway at the then Bold Art Gallery, run by Hazel Hendy. As well as my work, I was doing street art there. At that time I painted mostly features, buildings and landscapes of the city and country. I participated in the local Galway Arts Festival. I took art courses at NUIGalway University. Later, I lived at Schloss Solitude near Stuttgart for six months, where I did a lot of plein air painting. After returning home after the birth of my eldest daughter, I started at Metropolitan University (METU) in 2015. I graduated in 2019 with a BA in Graphic Design. I am currently working on my MA. About my current work: A kind of eclectic equilibrium is the purpose of the birth of an image, as past meets present and future, as in a diary. I explore the relationship between man and objects. I think it is very important to find the roots, they are present in all my paintings on some level. I try to create a balance where the most important thing is to accept or strive for imperfection. I aim to see the essence of things, to understand, to accept, to transform them into my own image. The objects that surround us-which we can easily overlook-are inspiring. The hidden treasures of the household. By depicting the transitional space between the figurative and the abstract, I strive to create a clean order.
