I explore the male form in art. Through my work, I strive to challenge societal norms and perceptions surrounding male nudity, aiming to elevate it to the same level of artistic reverence often reserved for the female nude. I aim to convey the raw vulnerability and power inherent in the male body, inviting viewers to confront their potential preconceptions and biases. I often try to do that by inserting my nude characters in daily-life scenarios, where nudity is not expected (rightfully). My process usually begins with the creation of my visual sources, crafting characters and scenarios that are both fictional and grotesque. Utilising digital tools to refine these sources, I then translate them onto paper or canvas. Inspired by the works of artists such as David LaChapelle, Guido Crepax, and Milo Manara, as well as by pop culture in general, I hope that my work can be perceived either as ironic, sensual, or provocative OR all of the above.
