ABOUT THE ARTWORK

"Cold weather" watercolor on paper, 38x55.5 cm Winter is leaving hard. Cold winds howl. Heavy gray clouds rush across the sky. The fields are still empty and cold. But even in the darkest darkness there is a place for warmth and light. Sometimes it is the warm heat of the stove in the home. Sometimes these are the amber eyes of a faithful dog. Sometimes it is a fleeting ray of sun through an overcast sky. Sometimes it's a book. And sometimes these are heavy gray clouds that you look at and smile at, because you know that the sun is behind them. Winter is leaving hard. But that is why spring greets us even warmer. For my artworks I use only light stable high quality watercolor on 100% cotton paper. This combination of materials allows to save good colors of painting, so the painting will please you for many years. For this work I used 100% cotton 300 g/m² Artistico Fabriano watercolor paper and Rosa Gallery watercolors as a medium.
