Colonel Mustard Print

I am always inspired by color. Colors just make me feel good. I absolutely love seeing how colors interact on the canvas. I will often start painting with a feeling or an emotion in mind. Other times, I'm just curious and eager to see how some colors will interact on the canvas. How will they look together, will the contrast be interesting? Experimenting and just having fun with colors is a big part of why and how I paint. I find it all very fascinating to see how certain pigments react, and how it isn't always the same, depending on which colors are on the canvas. Now, this playful title comes from the game Clue. It's the first thing that came to my mind when I looked at the completed and dried painting. Mainly because how the yellow paint really turned to a mustard yellow when mixed with these other colors. This painting was also the answer to a couple of questions I had on these colors and how they would look together. The title stuck, it seemed fitting!
