ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This abstract expression catches the fun of coming about to a new heading while sailing on Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York. My wife and I sailed these lakes for twenty-five years. Someone said sailing is "Hours of boredom punctuated by moments of shear terror." I would not call it terror but it is exciting to come about in strong wind.
