This artwork rescues love in the form of companionship. How many of us have not been accompanied or accompanied others with simple presence? It rescues the value of being, of staying by someone's side. The company in the silence of the other. That feeling of belonging to someone without any greater pretension than mutual companionship. It is painted on aged books that are collected to revive them through art. Each of the books has a message that communicates with the message of the artwork, and it is composed of seven books, each with a message that relates to the meaning of the piece: Each one has a dog as a companion - Education of children - Trust - Family and friends - They promptly come to their aid - Partners - Friends. It is part of the "Amortology" series, which is about love in all its facets. Love as behavior, as the things we do for others and for ourselves, "the act of love"; also as a starting point, as a space-time in which decisions are made based on love; this Amortology is also a place of arrival, a point at which you have transformed; and finally, it is the plot, the path that is traveled, the daily gestures, the passing of time. In this series, the books intertwine to tell a story through words that, together, form a narrative.
