The inspiration for this series of paintings is the colour field movement and the post-painterly abstraction developed on the 60's en NYC by artists such as Helen Frankenthaler, Morris Louis and Ad Reinhardt among others.The creative process includes: dripping, "all over" and the soaked stain technique. The pigment powders and the combination of the oil and acrylic mediums, generates different kind of chemical reactions on the surface. This way the this serie of paintings stands out for this uniqueness.
