1953 in Mainkofen bei Deggendorf geboren, studierte Roswitha Kammerl erfolgreich Modegrafik an der Deutschen Meisterschule für Mode in München. Dort lernte sie ihr angeborenes kreatives Talent professionell anzuwenden. Offensichtlichen Einfluss auf ihre Kunst hatten nicht zuletzt ihr USA-Aufenthalt Anfang der 80er Jahre, der sich oft mehr oder weniger direkt auf ihren großformatigen Bildern zum Thema „Pin-Up & Politik“ widerspiegelt, als natürlich auch ihre zwanzigjährige Tätigkeit für ein Unternehmen der Golfbranche, die erst 2014 endete, als sich Roswitha Kammerl entschied, Golf Tours St. Andrews () zu erwerben.
