ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Cosmic Soul - TIME and SPACE This newest art work in my series the “Cosmic Soul”, was inspired by sacred geometry and the Platonic Solids, described by Plato. The ancient Greek philosopher, who lived in 360 B.C., theorized that the classical elements of the world were made of regular solids, which he theorized being the five Platonic Solids, that were thought to represent the five basic elements: earth, air, fire, water, and the universe. The 64 sided tetrahedron in my painting stands as the symbol for the universe. THE MAGIG GALACTIC HEXAGON is hovering in front of the grid, while the 4 sided Cosmic soul is holding everything together. The eight star tetrahedron makes up the 64 grid tetrahedron lattice. It’s also called the seed space geometry, which is both, fractal and holographic. The shape bears the marks of huge pyramid structures and also represents the concept of time, which is the tetrahedron grid; and when put against the flower of life, the spheres represents space. This is where time and space meet. The four male-female pairs are star tetrahedron - two intersection tetrahedron made of four each. One upwards (male), one downwards (female). In creation they rule as two opposite laws: the law of spirit and the law of matter. Spirit is life: The law of the spirit is radiation, giving, selflessness. Matter is resistance: The law of matter is drawing inward, cooling off, solidification. The 64 tetrahedron grid is the first harmonic of the cuboctahedron geometry and what eventually becomes, with scalar octave growth, the infinite holographic vacuum structure of the entire universe. I hope for the viewer and owner of this piece of Art to resonate and reflect within the macro cosmos of the universe above as well as one's own micro cosmos universe below, outward as well as inward in oneself - in mediation - with the assistance of the peaceful, collected symbolism and energy the painting carries in itself.

I earned my Bachelor as well as my Masters of Fine Arts in Germany, at the renown State Academy for fine Arts in Karlsruhe. Where I worked with internationally well known artists like Franz Ackermann (who was my mentor when I was his Master Student) Antje Majevski, Andreas Slominski, Simone Wester Winter, Gerd van Dülmen and Horst Antes. While working as a professional artist in Loss Angeles, I also teach kids and teens Fine Arts Classes at my studio.
