Marie-Claude ELLHËA was born in the Nantes region in France where she lives. An essentially self-taught contemporary painter, she has perfected her skills over the years. Since 1989, she has regularly exhibited her works in France and abroad, both in personal exhibitions and in contemporary art fairs. His figurative paintings or his abstract and modern paintings evoke interior landscapes. They invite you to dream and meditate and project you into a world of peace. The artist Ellhëa handles with ease the dimension of dreams and symbols. She draws her inspiration from her multiple interests: nature, the ocean and sailing, music, architecture, the cosmos, feng-shui... She expresses herself equally well with oil paint and acrylic paint on canvas, as well as Indian ink or watercolor on paper. She practices, among other things, Japanese wash, an Indian ink painting technique, a meditative painting combining gesture with breath, which seeks to reproduce the spirit of things in an atmosphere that is more suggestive than detailed. ​
