Hey! My name is Artem, I am an artist from the beautiful country of Ukraine, the city of Odesa. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. Drawing for me is part of the meaning of life, through which I calm down, relax, enjoy transferring my vision of the world to the canvas through abstract images. I am a dreamer and I reflect my dreams through a gamut of oil paints applied to the canvas, from which the whole picture is created, while trying to comply with the principles of composition. On my page of this gallery, there are two collections of paintings, one of them represents abstractions of urban themes, and the other is a marine theme, where I express my emotions, dreams and experiences regarding the environment to which a certain collection is dedicated. In urban abstraction paintings, I express the idea that a city is more than buildings and population. This is a certain rhythm and lifestyle, and in every city it is different. A city is a drive and a unique atmosphere, and again it is different depending on what kind of city it is. The idea that inspires me to write marine abstractions is that the sea is a special dimension, a separate philosophy. Looking at the endless sea expanses, you can endlessly go into fantasies and dreams and think about something deep. The sea calms me down, heals and gives me strength and energy. The sea is the best natural companion. This love for the sea for the sea I express in my marine abstractions.
