ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Watercolor paints are alive and I like how they spread and make unexpected transitions. The idea of the picture is that it is not always clear where the line between reality and shadow lies. Painted on professional watercolor paper Hahnemuhle with a density of 265gsm. Size: 24×32 cm (unframed) Note that colors can vary slightly depending on the monitor’s calibration. Always measure the wall where you intend to place your artwork before you purchase it, the interior suggestion designs in the pictures are only meant to show you fitted room designs ; the size can always vary depending on walls, distance and furniture. Painted and signed by Anna Hnatiuk. Each of my paintings have a Certificate of Authenticity and is signed. You’ll need to frame the watercolor under the glass to protect the painting.

Anna Hnatiuk is a Ukrainian artist, born in 1985 and a third-generation artist, working primarily with watercolors. She actively participates in exhibitions, and her works are held in private collections in the USA, Canada, Europe, and Ukraine. In her work, she strives to achieve harmony, lightness, and tranquility. It is important to her that her paintings, despite their professional technique, leave room for imperfection, as she believes that true art reveals itself in its authenticity. Her work primarily focuses on flowers and still lifes, emphasizing the emotions that these familiar objects evoke in viewers: a sense of comfort, the beauty in everyday things, and the memories associated with them. Her artistic journey is a continuous process of learning and self-improvement. Anna is open to experimenting with new materials, exploring art history and social psychology, studying the biographies of artists, and actively working on her professional growth. Her core principles include honesty, freedom, creativity, authenticity, and development.
