Multidisciplinary artist, always looking for new things, experimenting with various materials and techniques. I live and work currently in Groningen-the Netherlands. I was born and raised on Ameland, one of the islands above the Netherlands. As a child I was incredibly inspired by nature, forms, shapes, the lovely landscapes and the beautiful skies above the island. Mijn inspiratie komt uit de natuur, het eiland waar ik ben geboren en opgegroeid, de geuren en kleuren van de zee aan de noordkant en het wad aan de zuidkant. Ook de oneindige horizon, de ruimte, mistige weilanden met ochtenddauw, de duinen en het strand. Wanneer de zeedamp opstijgt, wordt het eiland een mystieke verschijning. Al deze indrukken, dagdromen en inspiratie vertaal ik veelal naar abstract werk.
