The colors used, such as warm reds, orange, yellow and white, add an emotional depth to the piece. The title itself "Doleful", suggests a feeling of sadness and introspection. The figure in my painting represents a reflection of the human condition, inspired by the complexity of emotions that arise when one is confronted with the transient nature of existence.
