ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by the loss of loved ones and romantic portraits of the 19th. century. I like to use and distort dress patterns imagining that the canvas is the fabric of a dress. A portraiture of a couple of good friends and their dog served as an inspiration , I then added some of the symbolism from the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo in the figure of an external heart. It is a dream Haute-couture fashion commercial.
