Down Time N°2020W10 Size: 20 W x 16 H x 0.1 D in Ships in a Box This print is not matted and is sent to you unframed to allow you to choose your own mat color and frame to suit your home. In Situ Images in frame: The images shown are a guide only, to help give you an idea of how a print will look once matted and framed. The process involves creating a pencil sketch of the face followed by multiple layers of transparent washes merged together to build form and shadow. While Jim selectively positions the face; he purposefully leaves the white portions untouched, providing a bright source of light. In an unusual treatment of the hair, which is formed by carefully painted linear lines; he creates this unique signature style.

Jim Wildman is a contemporary art painter, born in 1964 in Spokane, Washington. Living in Charlotte, North Carolina. He creates mostly abstract and landscape oil paintings or wood combines 3D panels and sculptures. North Carolina's country sides, woods, lakes, mountains, seas, landscapes and his emotions are his main inspiration. His contemporary landscape, mixed media, acrylics, and oil paintings are based on his own inspiration or photographs taken during walks or travels. He enjoys computer graphics and photographs that are often part of a series of overpainted photographs. Jim also creates watercolors of imaginary landscapes and abstracts. His work is sold to architects, interior designers, private collectors worldwide. After serving his country for more than a decade in the United States Marine Corp, Jim completed his architectural degree at Oklahoma State University School of Architecture.
