I started painting in my early childhood in Oklahoma. A love of fine arts significantly influenced my life's path which included painting, piano, singing professionally and as a paid actress in television and commercial print. Raising a family and partnering with my husband to open and run a successful independent pharmacy was fulfilling, but the arts continued to "call" me. Resurrecting my passion for painting, I was especially inspired by abstract art and multi-media pieces, which have become my major focus. My work represents a very personal introspection of my vision and identity. To best express myself, I use a wide variety of energetic colors, stones, glass, crystals and textures on canvas, paper and wood. Using natural strengths as both a creative being and a task-oriented worker, I become very stimulated and invigorated when commissioned to create pieces for corporations and individual collectors. The inspiration for my art is the love and happiness in my heart and I hope others experience the same sense of happiness when viewing my work.
