ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The artwork is painted in oil on high-quality linen canvas in the style of impressionism using the layer-by-layer painting method. The side edges of the artwork are painted, so it can be hung without a frame. Before the war, Tanya and I once visited the Royal Lake (Königssee) in the Bavarian Alps (we sailed on a pleasure boat on the lake and listened to the amazing echo that spreads across the lake). The lake is located in the Berchtesgadener National Park, surrounded by beautiful Alpine mountains on all sides and the picture shows a view of the lake from the side of the church (St. Bartholomä), which is located on the shore of the lake. In the distance, the snow-capped peak of Mount Watzmann, one of the highest mountains in Bavaria, is visible. The artwork was painted in Odessa (Ukraine) in 2022 during the war. This painting, like all my paintings, is individual, I paint only what I saw personally (I never duplicate my artworks, I don't make copies from other people's paintings).

All paintings are individual, I paint only what I saw personally (I never duplicate my works, I don’t make copies from other people's paintings and I don’t paint pictures to order). When creating paintings, I use exclusively high-quality materials: oil paints and linen canvases. I paint pictures for my own pleasure, and right on the paintings I write with text those emotions and feelings, that accompanied me when creating the corresponding picture.
