ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The painting represents the conflictual relationship I have always had with the Catholic Church. For a period of my life, childhood, I thought I was an outsider compared to all the other children because I felt I was different, but not in a good way. Over the years I have grown up and I don't define myself as a Christian anymore but the bigotry of some of the members of the Church still torment me. Here in the painting I try to make peace with herself.
