ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My work talks about memories, moments and dialogues with various fabrics, laces, colours, lines and textures that circulated in my mother's sewing table. The fabric is an element that gives form to memories that are part of my private universe. The influence of the elements of Minho costumes, flowers, colours, embroidered dresses that Undulated like waves. These works belong to the series Inside, where I explore the idea of meditation and inner world reflection. Just look inside you, and just bring all your joy, strength, consciousness, courage and love. In this work, I used acrylic, oil stick, collage, pastel on paper.
