ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Evoke is a depiction of self-reflection in humans. The painting is in mixed media including acrylic and watercolour on canvas. It is one of the larger format paintings that I have in the Cave Art collection. The article illustrates a naked woman in a relaxing gesture. The style is inspired by ancient Romans' art. The painting background is a layer of relaxing green on amber yellow watercolour. The woman's body is created by soft touches of brush dropping earthly brown on the canvas.
