Fall of the Shadow – Original Painting – Framed & Signed The dimensions are: Framed Size: Width 61cm & Height 61cm – Approx Actual painting 60cm x 60cm White bespoke shadow Frame – Hand painted with chalk white paint Signed and named on back of Artwork There is something mystical about the last light of the day as the sunset starts to wane but still casts a shadow over the sea. The sky above the sunset is looking troubled for telling perhaps of a storm in the night. One thing is certain there is never two days the same at the beautiful Sennen Cove in Cornwall, which is the inspiration of much of my artwork. This artwork is textured to convey a sense of movement and depth. The central horizon is gold leaf which helps give the painting a sense of perspective and reflects the light Background This series of paintings is my largest ever project as I am painting 365 artworks of Sennen Cove. One for each day of the year. I have been inspired and captivated by this beautiful, magical bay in a remote part of western Cornwall near Lands End. Many of these paintings have been published in my recent book called “A Moment in Time”
