ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Im very interested in portraying all sorts of women. I find them to be strong, feisty and beckoning. I love portraying women in all of their glory. I especially enjoy doing portraits and combining the realism of a good old fashion portrait painting with an abstract background allowing the face of the sitter to emerge with the background. I find it extremely expressive and enjoy it a lot. I hope you will too. This gallery wrapped painting is an oil painting on a background of both oil and acrylic. I consider it to be abstract expressionism with realism.

I was born in New Jersey right outside of New York City and was lucky enough to be exposed to great art at a young age. I personally discovered that I was an artist when I was 17 years old and tried my hand at my first painting when nobody was home. It was wonderful. I’ve been doing art ever since then finding my way as a portrait painter with an expressionist leaning as well as loving to do abstracts.. Painting is my joy.
