About The Artwork
The author was inspired to create this work by the history of special units of Japanese aviation in the period 1944-1945. I hope that the audience will feel the strength of spirit and determination of the suicide pilots. The pop art style was chosen as the most expressive in terms of the brightness of the color and the strength of the impression. Abstract expressionism style gives the picture a special energy and should cause the viewer mental delight.

I was born in Moscow in 1982 in the family of the famous film director Oleg Kovalov. He moved to St. Petersburg in 1988. In 1997, I attended classes at the children's art school on the basis of the Catherine Palace / Pushkin city 1997-1999 I was trained by Yu. D. Shevchik, Chairman of the St. Petersburg Society of Watercolorists. Subjects: drawing, painting, composition, color / city of Saint Petersburg 1999-2000 I Was trained by L. G. Bashkov (drawing), Yu. P. Daletskaya (watercolor) / city of Saint Petersburg In 2014, my first solo exhibition took place / city of Saint Petersburg.
