I am a contemporary realist painter who creates works in oil with the goal of achieving an illusion of three-dimensional depth, atmosphere, luminosity, and mood that represents nature. I want the observer to feel they are inside my paintings, experiencing a sense of place, the sun and spray on their face, the wind in their hair, the movement of the waves, and the rustle of the leaves. I am an elected member of the American Artists Professional League, and a member of Allied Artists of America, International Guild of Realism, American Society of Marine Artists, Oil Painters of America, and the National Oil & Acrylic Painters Society.
