This picture is part of a series of flowers painted during 2021 during the pandemic. Which is a sort of response to the health crisis, a response filled with beauty and hope. Flowers have been a recurrent theme during my career. They represent beauty, freshness, and optimism. I don’t make representational images. What I try to convey is the emotion derived from the object I choose to paint. I hope the viewer enjoys the feeling of being in front of such wonderful natural beings: Flowers. It was painted using mixed media on cardboard during an inspired state of mind, spontaneously and freely.
