The Happy Weirdo is a contemporary abstract painter acknowledged for his bold, cartoon like paintings. Many of his paintings are impulsive, but a reoccurring motif within his work is his fearless use of colour and black continuous line. From being heavily inspired by the meeting of street culture and high art from young age, it only seemed natural for him to use such motifs to explore the painting process. The spirit of street art and the vibrant characters that surround him influence his art greatly and instill a passion within him to reflect his experience through paint. He also believes the freedom of line and colour in his work both reflect these influences.
