Bert Grant is a self taught contemporary impressionist painter based in Cumming, Georgia. For more than twenty years, he has explored the interplay of memory, imagination, and lived experience through both painting and photography. His work centers on expressive landscapes and seascapes, along with select animal and figurative pieces. Working primarily in acrylics, Grant embraces the medium’s bold color range to create vibrant, contemporary impressionistic scenes and occasional abstract works. His paintings are known for their rich color, emotional warmth, and strong sense of place.
