ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My work is almost exclusively influenced by the rhythm of nature and the way we respond to it's beauty and movement. I sense a fog lift. You can tell me. Living on several coasts, I love to share a mood of the sea, as the waves roll by on land and shore. Without a specific intention, I feel the essence and then paint. My tools, my palette knives. I create layer to cover and then reveal the depth of the work. My work is not titled or defined a name until complete. These bold elements and movement reminded me of a pier. I hope my clients find a treasure at the pier and enjoy it as much as I did painting.

.My journey as a creative started very young. I have always loved color and being outdoors. Today, I am a contemporary artist that paints abstracts and abstract expressionism. I paint with a strong revererance for both beauty and the variations of nature as I have traveled extensively. My work is described as serene and I view it as a refuge from a hectic world as I observes and feels the reflection of light, shadow and mood. A favorite theme is coastal or the land. My style is non-representational or abstracted using a variety of tools with a faith in my design principles and heart as I approach the canvas. Painting is a visual story I tell that is often said to be uplifting and my clients enjoy that aspect of my work. I have a B.A. in Advertising, Layout and Design and minor in photography from New Mexico State University.
