ABOUT THE ARTWORK
An abstract painting that evolved over a period of around a year. The initial layers consist of circular arcs of various colours, subsequently covered by a wash of light blue and with complementary straight edged shapes drawn in and filled in with muted colours. Whilst the top layer features sharp edges the overall piece is calming because of the restrained and translucent top colours allowing the viewer to see the layers underneath. This painting ships on a bespoke stretcher frame.
