ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a painting of Moses. He mentioned to G-d that he wanted to see him, and G-d answered him that no one could see Him and live. G-d then told Moses to hide in a cave and peep from behind the rocks as he passed - ... This idea has always fascinated me - and if you look at the right-hand upper corner of the rock you will see the Hebrew 'yud' cut out of the paper, which is the ancient letter that represents G-d. This painting is my attempt to bring the idea to life.

I was born in Botswana, Africa, and grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. I currently live in Tiberias, Israel - a very picturesque place for an artist to be. I draw a lot of inspiration from the landscape, and flowers around me - I am a great lover of nature. I also enjoy illustrating concepts that have occurred to me and use my imagination to attempt to explain the concept. I really do love all types of art, and will not shy away from attempting a completely new style, or method of creating - it is after all, supposed to be fun and uplifting to be able to create. My introduction to art was through oils, although these days I paint mostly watercolors.
