ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Mirza Ghalib was a famous poet who hailed from India. He used to write in both Urdu and Persian. Ghalib placed a greater emphasis on seeking of God rather than ritualistic religious practices. His works are still greatly revered by poetry lovers across the world to this day. I have merely painted a picture of his portrait using acrylic paints. It’s a good portrait for a literature classroom, or a literature lovers living room, and a great conversation starter. The colours are vibrant and the picture is prominent against a black background.
