ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The painting is to depict the pain and effects of greed on other who need it. The table is made paint and unpainted because the food and table is empty compared to the life that is try to survive. The man is painted smoothly to portray health and fullness. The poor boy is painted roughly to reflect his life. This is a personal painting to be because I strongly believe this is reality. It constantly reminds me to not be comfortable with my life ignoring people who need me.
