I am, and have been all my life, an artist. My mind is cluttered with thoughts and ideas that I will eventually put to canvas (or wood, or leather, or anything else I can get to hold still). Life has dented me up a bit but the end result is a mind that has even more inspiration and experience to draw from which, in turn, translates to creativeness. Probably, as with any "artist", to create in any shape, form or medium is a release, a comfort, and a very necessary means to an end...that being a release, replaced by calm, peace, and serenity. I would definitely call my style eclectic, spontaneous, and ever changing! There is so much inspiration in the world, how could I possibly limit my art to one style or one medium. All I know for sure is that my "style" is subject to change on a day to day basis, depending upon what happens to give me inspiration at the moment. I do not feel that this is neither good nor bad...it is what it is (as my son in law says). From the first time I could hold a crayola, my "art" comforted my soul and my restlessness, peaked my curiosity and made me smile. I was able to transform "my true reality" into whatever I wanted it to be, on paper. I must admit, however, that sometimes I go to a "dark" place, haunted by the past, and it becomes reflected in the piece I am working on, but, not to fear, by tomorrow it will have morphed into something other...  As a child, I was, of course, too young to realize all this “stuff”. I am aware, today, and I do hope you will see something to brighten up a small corner of your world when you look at my art. And... should you choose to “adopt” one of my pieces, rest assured that somewhere within the art is a small piece of a frightened young girl longing to express herself. God Bless... diane wisehart, humbled artist by the Grace of God
