About The Artwork
This minimalist and abstract work incorporates elements of colour, line, shape and movement. There are forms of deep blue that vibrate and enter a gray environment that is the point of balance. The mustard colour is a form that complements the composition and the intersecting lines give an action-provoking twist. The touches of white stir up the vibration of the dark blocks that are introduced in the gray mantle. It is acrylic, pigments and casein glue on cotton duck canvas. It is signed on the front and on the back. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Annabel Andrews was born in the Isle of Wight in 1940 now lives and works in El Escorial near Madrid Spain, where the colour, light and volumes of the mountains inspire her work. As also her friendship with the late Spanish artists Pablo Palazuelo and Jose Guerrero. By preparing her own canvases with home made casein glue base and zinc white the work is light and luminous ready for applying acrylic colours.
