As a child I would look out the window and get lost in dreams that I could only imagine. It was natural for me to express myself through drawing first, and then painting. I took a part-time job my last year in school working with a commercial artist. It soon turned into full-time and I found that I loved working with art and I was good. My life changed when I moved from NJ into New York City. I began at The Art Students League with life drawing from the nude model. Four years at The League gave me a great foundation for drawing and painting. When my daughter was tiny I set up a studio in my garage and began to paint gardens in the area. I would drive around town and take photos and make small sketches. The photos and sketches would be translated onto large canvases. I used lots of color and began selling through consultants. It was a lot of fun to paint and brighten interior spaces. Nature has always been a source great inspiration as it's constantly changing. Our energy constantly changes as well. We see many patterns in nature and in our lives. I like to go beyond and hope that my vision will touch your heart. For many years I was represented by Shirley Scott Gallery in Southampton, NY and also WORKS gallery in NYC. I am currently represented locally by Lorne's Gallery. artistsareaonlinegallery
