ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Salty's; a true collaboration of three artists. Photographer Holly McIntyre, painter and teacher Ray Knaub and myself. This series of paintings is both a conversation and an homage to Ray Knaub. Ray taught at the high school Hollie and I attended. We both were students in those young days while Ray was just reaching the pinnacle of the Southwestern Art scene. "Headin' for New Pastures" is a testament to the process needed to move on in life, to leave something behind for the betterment of yourself.
