British born, resident in Spain. I loved art at school but dropped the subject to study modern languages. Have spent all my adult life in Spain; although Art, drawing, painting has been a passion all through my life, I came back to it in a more decisive way and started really working, in 2006 after a "spiritual retreat". I feel so lucky and privileged to be able to now almost make a living from doing what I love most, since the beginning of 2009. (supplementing with some teaching) All the same, I prefer to say as little as possible about my work, and hopefully the art will speak for itself. If it can reach out and touch somewhere deep inside, then I have more than accomplished what I would like to achieve. I work with feelings, emotion, 'energy' in a word that can be sensed all around us. As a spiritualist, I am always acutely aware of energy. It is what I let "take over" whilst painting, which I do to classical or opera. I sometimes paint live, with my hands and those works are auctioned shortly after. Commissions accepted.
