This artwork is a part of the series "Hero and Mass Culture", which is based on the principle of binary oppositions where the main object is contrasted with a chaotic background. This is a kind of metaphor where original (true) elitism is opposed to egalitarianism of replicability and mass.

Zakhar Kondratyuk is an artist who lives and works in the west of Ukraine in the city of Lviv. He received a degree in sculpture in 2013 at the College of Ivan Trush. Moreover, he immediately entered the monumental painting at the Lviv National Academy of Arts, where he gained a Master's degree in 2019. Since that time, he has been working in his studio. The main topic of the work is the revealing of paradoxical moments in mass culture and their reproduction in painting. After all, removing a particular recognizable object, and transferring the situation to another context, allows us to look at the usual things from a different point of view. Such manipulation enables the rethinking of fundamental principles and paradigms of the dominant culture.
