ABOUT THE ARTWORK

INSPIRATION The light that seems to live at the end of the path attracts us like moths. I redid this picture three times, destroying the previous copies. I think I will paint it again and again in the future because the shining of our illusions is a theme that fascinates me and involves me. TEMPERA I do love to paint with tempera because it is quick just waves of my mind. Moreover materials used for oil and acrylic painting increase pollution more. Using tempera can make more difficult or nearly impossible to fix any error to apply changes to the parts you already painted, but I do prefer to spend more time to think and draw sketches before, that having the chance to correct after. Tempera, moreover, is the best choice for my gaunt and rough style, where I want nothing more than the bare minimum to avoid distracting the gaze and emotions from what seems most important to me. SUPPORT I used a canvas with a 3.5 cm thick frame. CANVAS FRAME The painting has been framed with a black wooden frame. Actual sizes, with frame, are: 63.3 x 53.3 x 5 cm. CERTIFICATE All my paintings come with a signed authenticity certificate. SIGNING This painting has been signed both on the front and the back of canvas.

Since you're reading here, I suppose you're interested to know something about me, but, I can assure you that there is really nothing interesting to know. Anyway I was born in 1960 and spent my life looking for my destiny. I was a computer consultant, a mineral collector, a manager in some IT companies, but also a crystal therapist, a photographer, a writer and then a jewel designer and a painter. Along my life I spent many thousands hours in meditation and many other walking alone through mountains and woods. With my works I want to translate into paintings the emotions, the questions and the spaces that I walked across.
