During the pandemic, Marvel super-heroes are quarantined. So “Ice Diva’ Is going to make the show! As a result of global warming linked to human activities, the #Fantasy “Ice Diva” is angry as the ice melts in sheets around her. She arises from the abyss to warn the world. ⠀ Ice Diva is multi-layers of resin art. ⠀ It represents the face of a Diva emerging from the deep waters, fracturing the ice. Her spirit is embodied by a pyrite sun. These gems are formed in the narrow seams between 300 million-year-old coal deposits. Pyrite is a powerful stone of protection that shields and protects against all forms of negative vibrations and/or energy. This golden-hued gem exhibits striations radiating out from the center like rays of the sun. ⠀ The face is surrounded by slices of mineral pink Muscovite mica which gives an appearance of melted ice. Energy is enhanced by selenite spears displayed around the centerpiece. ⠀ The crystal-clear face is mounted on a mirrored box filled with resin, which acts like a magnifying glass that gives an illusion of infinity. LED light brings life to the face by illuminating the pyrite sun from under the piece. The fragments of ice are raised slightly above the surface giving the piece a semblance of ice floating on water. ⠀ ‘’Ice Diva” is one of a kind! The piece is ready to hang with French cleats and signed by both artists, with a wax seal of authenticity on the back. A power supply and a replacement LED light prewired are included. We are artists who work together as a couple to create unique and colorful abstract art on aluminum and wood. Since 2014, we have collaborated to sculpt artistic liquid effects through physics and fluid chemistry. These art pieces are created by using a wide array of fluids, all of the varying colors, viscosities, and organic elements. The vibrancy of colors and the synergy in movement lend sophistication to their environment and bring in a lot of positivity in our work. Because our pastimes include travel and diving, we are able to discover new artistic inspiration from landscapes and undersea vistas from all over the world. When creating one of our unique art pieces, we share our ideas with equanimity, working as a team. These meditative, abstract images represent the way in which we combine our creative and complementary natures. This combining of different elements into a whole creates a fusion more intriguing and beautiful than each component alone.
